As Veterans Day approaches, many organisations and businesses are offering special deals and discounts to honour those who have served in the military.
According to the National Park Service, entrance fees will be waived at all national parks and other federal lands. This includes popular destinations such as Yellowstone, Yosemite, and the Grand Canyon. The offer is valid for all visitors, not just veterans, but it is a great way to show appreciation for those who have served our country.
If you’re not sure which parks charge entrance fees, the National Park Service has a helpful page on their website that lists all the parks that participate in the fee-free program. You can find it at nps.gov/findapark/feefreeparks.
Mark your calendar for 2/22/23 and start planning your next national park adventure.
